Yes. Tell us how you feel and we will go at your pace. We will discuss comfort and sedation options that fit your health history.

My gums bleed when I brush. Should I come in?

Yes. Bleeding gums are one of the most common early signs of gum disease, which is easier to treat when it is caught early. Learn more about gum disease treatment.

Should I choose dental implants or dentures?

It depends on your gums, your jawbone, your health and your goals. Implants are fixed and help protect the jawbone, while dentures are removable and often less invasive. We will explain which fits your situation. Compare dental implants and dentures.

Dental emergencies

Can I get a same-day appointment for an emergency?

We hold time for urgent dental problems. Call (747) 339-7016 as early as you can and we will tell you how soon we can see you. See our emergency dentist page.

When should I go to the emergency room instead?

Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room right away if you have swelling that spreads toward your eye or neck, trouble breathing or swallowing, a high fever with facial swelling, bleeding that does not stop with firm pressure, or a serious injury to your face or jaw.

What should I do if a tooth is knocked out?

Pick the tooth up by the crown, not the root, rinse it gently without scrubbing, and try to place it back in the socket or keep it in milk. Call us right away at (747) 339-7016. The sooner you are seen, the better the chance of saving the tooth.
