As with your own natural teeth, good dental hygiene is also essential to protecting your dentures. Brushing them will remove plaque and food particles. Brush your gums and tongue with a soft-bristled brush in order to stimulate circulation and remove plaque and bacteria. Your dentures should also be kept moist when they are not being worn so that they do not dry out.
